Job Overview:
The Maintenance Porter plays a vital role in keeping the buildings, facilities, and restrooms clean and orderly. Their primary responsibilities include cleaning duties such as washing walls, cleaning floors, glass surfaces, showers, and restrooms, and disposing of rubbish. In addition, the Maintenance Porter will also handle minor repairs, including but not limited to painting, fixture replacement, furniture assembly, minor plumbing repairs, minor or general golf cart maintenance, power washing, drywall repairs, and general maintenance. The Maintenance Porter will work under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager and collaborate closely with the Facility Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Compensation:$17.00-$20.00/hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions, with exposure to outdoor temperatures, weather variations, traffic and equipment noise, equipment vibrations, vehicle and/or chemical fumes, chemicals such as cleaning solvents and grease, machinery and their moving parts and dust.
Work duties may require the ability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for frequent and prolonged periods of time.
Work duties may require the ability to work outdoors for an entire shift.
The work environment characteristics are normal maintenance conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Occasional overtime may be required.
Holidays and/or weekends may be required based on business needs.
Consistent and regular attendance required.
Shift to be determined and may change according to the demands of the facility.
Some exposure to dust and noise.
Some heavy lifting, standing, climbing.
Work duties may include hauling trash from the Parks to the dumpsters, therefore a pickup truck is preferred.
Schedule:Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Tools Used:
Possession of a valid California State Driver's License.
Possession of valid state mandated auto insurance
